Documents Required
- Clear copy of passport and driver's licence or State ID: please provide a clear, legible copy of your valid passport and your driver's licence or State-issued ID.
- Passport-size photograph: a recent passport-size photograph with a white background and no glasses or sunglasses, as required by the visa application system. If the visa system does not accept the submitted photograph, additional photographs may be requested.
- Visa approval: visa approval is not guaranteed and is solely subject to the decision of the Government of Pakistan and the applicable visa authorities. Providing false, incomplete or misleading information may result in visa rejection or other consequences.
- Indian passport holders: must provide a copy of their Green Card, passport, and driver's licence or State ID, as applicable. An additional $25 processing fee applies.
Travel Options & Group Rules
- Travel via Wagah Border: if the Wagah Border, Lahore, is officially open and available for passenger travel, yatris may travel to India through the Wagah Border.
- Two-suitcase baggage handling: if a yatri is carrying two suitcases when travelling through the Wagah Border, an additional $25 baggage-handling fee applies.
- USA-to-India travel / Land Package: yatris may travel from the USA to India and join the Konnect Yatra group through the Land Package. Our team will receive and assist yatris at the Wagah Border, Lahore, subject to the border being open and applicable government permissions.
- Seating policy: seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Yatris are requested not to change or reserve assigned seats without permission from the group leader or Konnect Yatra staff.
Yatra Rules & Safety
- Personal contact information: for your safety and privacy, yatris should not exchange personal phone numbers or other private contact information with unauthorised local individuals. Please follow the instructions of Konnect Yatra staff regarding communication with local people or government officials.
- Alcohol policy: alcohol is strictly prohibited as part of the Yatra rules during this holy pilgrimage.
- Group travel: yatris must remain with the group and should not leave the group or designated Yatra programme without prior permission from the group leader or authorised Konnect Yatra staff.
- Private / ancestral village visits: these are not included in the standard Yatra itinerary. Such visits require prior permission and authorisation from the appropriate government authorities and must be arranged at the traveller's own expense. Approval is not guaranteed.
Security & Itinerary Notice
For security and privacy reasons, final itinerary details may be provided as late as one week before departure.
The Yatra programme provided at the time of application is tentative. Routes, destinations, schedules, hotel arrangements, transportation and other programme details may be changed, amended or cancelled when necessary due to security concerns, government instructions, border conditions, weather, transportation issues, or other circumstances beyond the control of Konnect Yatra USA.
