Where a Konnect Yatra group goes
The Sikh holy places of Pakistan are not scattered at random. Guru Nanak was born at Nankana Sahib, left his handprint on the rock at Hasan Abdal, made the true bargain on the road at Farooqabad, and spent his last years farming at Kartarpur. A century later Guru Arjan Dev was imprisoned in Lahore Fort and martyred where Gurdwara Dera Sahib now stands. Two centuries after that, Maharaja Ranjit Singh ruled Punjab from that same city and was laid to rest a few steps from the shrine.
That is why our itinerary reads the way it does. It follows one story across the Punjab, and it takes in the Sikh historical places that belong to it — the Samadhi of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, the Samadhi of Bhai Mani Singh, Gurdwara Shaheed Ganj — as well as the Mughal Lahore that surrounds them. Every site below has its own page explaining what happened there and what a visit involves.
Places widely recognized for their cultural, historical or natural importance — drawing visitors from various regions.
